Heal your back
Pain and injuries in the spine area are very common sources of suffering among our people today. Our perception of our injuries and chronic pain become hard-wired into our brain, eventually twisting the way we experience and live our lives. The vast majority of us define our injuries and pain as limitations and develop a resentful attitude towards them; this does not have to be the case. What if we can perceive our injuries as a gift, an opportunity to learn how to heal ourselves and evolve? In fact, by healing our physical scars we also become more skillful on overcoming our emotional blockages and live past our preconditioned limitations.
In this workshop you will learn how to strip off the numbness from an injured or painful area of your body and develop skills to approach it in a way that it will respond to you. We are going to use the healing tools of Forrest Yoga: deep breathing and intelligent sequencing to create a safe space for the body to open up and give you intuitive insights to start your healing process. The juicy sequence will create a state of intelligent alertness so that you can distinguish the patterns connected to your injury and pain and how they affect your life choices. By learning how to heal yourself you will invite new wisdom, which will make you dispute your current limitations about your capabilities opening you up to new –previously unimaginable– possibilities.

Level: The 2.5-hour practice will be designed to address all levels.
I am Ilias.
It is my life’s purpose to use the effective tools of Forrest Yoga coupled with my personal experience, to inspire you to live your life to its highest potential. I will teach you to use your strong focus and attention to explore your body and mind in ways that may have been unknown to you. I will teach you how to breathe deeply so you can break free of the automatic way of being and delve deeper into feeling. You will connect the wisdom of the brain with the wisdom of the rest of your body and develop strong intuitive skills.
By sharpening your focus on the mat you will begin noticing the patterns that may be hindering you from living your life more happily and freely. I invite you to make a Warrior’s choice and start carving your way towards empowering yourself, so you can make wiser choices about how you wish to run your life, free of fear, insecurity and self-limiting beliefs. Let me help you open up to new possibilities and allow your self to realise that you can – and deserve to – live a fulfilling life on this planet.
